Blood Donation Camp 2022

Thiruvalluvar University Youth Red Cross (YRC) and Christian Medical (CMC) jointly organised a Blood Camp on 28.04.2022. This Blood Camp was inaugurated by Dr. R.Vijayaragavan, Register i/c Thiruvalluvar university Dr. Dhandapani, Dean, Thiruvalluvar university, formar Dean Thiruvalluvar university Dr G.Thangaraj and 15 members of CMC blood bank persons were participated with headship of Mr.Arul and 70 volunteers were gave their blood. Moreover, some of our Thiruvalluvar university faculty members were given their blood in this camp. The faculty members Dr. R.samidurai, Dr. G. Kalaimurugan, Dr. M.C.Harish are participated in this blood camp. The Thiruvalluvar University YRC coordinator Dr N. Sivaguru and YRC programme officer Dr. Vijayannand were organized the blood camp successfully.

Summary Report of the Blood Donation camp on 02. 08.2019

Thiruvalluvar University Youth Red Cross and Rotary club katpadi, and Christian medical college Jointly conducted blood donation camp at Thiruvalluvar university campus on 02.08.2019. Our Hornable Vice chancellor Dr. S.THAMARAI SELVI Innagarated and gave presedental address Rtn., K.K.KUMARESEN delivered special address and motivate the participants. Our university Registrar Dr V.Peruvalluthi , Dean CDC (i/c) Syndicate Member Dr. G.Thangaraj and Dr.C.DHANDHAPANI, Dr. B.senthil kumar all of them are falicitate the blood donation camp.

In the camp 62 units blood was denoted by the students and staff of our university. Our university zonal co-ordinator Dr N.SIVAGURU Organize the camp and arrange the facilities to co-operate CMC blood bank teem and arrange lunch for the CMC blood bank team.

Thiruvalluvar University Youth Red Cross and Indian Red Cross Society Jointly conducted One day Zonal Level Orientation Programme For YRC Programme officer at Thiruvalluvar university campus on 18.10.2019. Our Hornable Vice chancellor Dr. S.THAMARAI SELVI Innagarated and gave presedental address and Dr.C.INDRANATH Treasurer had delivered special address and motivate the participants. Our university Registrar Dr V.Peruvalluthi , Dean CDC (i/c) Syndicate Member Dr. G.Thangaraj and Syndicate Member Dr R.JEYARAMAN all of them are falicitate the one day programme.

Participents are came from the affiliated colleges of our university. sixty programme officers are participated. Five sessons are conducted. First session Dr.C.DHANDHAPANI Professor of Economics gave lecture about the history Of Red cross after that Dr. K.AMEENAL BIBI Assistant professor DKM women’s college gave the lecture about YRC activities in colleges. After lunch break Mr.ARUN AND TEAM CMC hospital gave elaborate lecture about Blood Donation, and Mr S.N.JANARTHANAN District convenor Jounior Red cross gave a lecture about First Aid, and Mr L.M.V.DEVEKUMAR gave the lecture about skills.
